In our North Missouri operations we grazed most of the winter, calved in April and May, and bred cows through the heat of the summer. We needed females that were easy keeping and functional in both hot and cold weather, and bulls that wouldn't break down in the heat and humidity.
When we bought an RCC Red Adaptor bull, we got the thick, deep, easy fleshing calves we were looking for. The RCC daughters maintained their condition without supplementation throughout our winter and consistently bred at 93% in a 60-day season from June 21 to August 21, the hottest part of summer. The bull himself stayed in top body condition year-round on nothing but grass."
"Would I buy another RCC Red Adaptor bull? You bet I would."
